Several years ago, I started this as a running blog to keep myself motivated (or rather, hold myself accountable) to training for the Vancouver Sun Run.  Like many blogs, it sort of faded away on me.  It dropped completely off of my radar, and I had very little motivation to write what, to me, sounded like a failure-log.

Eventually, I remembered it sitting here, wasting away, and since I found myself with a bit of time on my hands, I decided it was time for a refresh.

No longer a “running blog,” Run Trish, Run! is now a sort of motivation and fitness blog.  Think of it like Fitness Festivus.  It’s a fitness blog for the rest of us, where one can find motivation, delicious and (decently) healthy food, events in the Vancouver area, and my various anecdotes, which I think are quite funny.

This isn’t a training log and I’m not an intense athlete.  I just want to be stronger, able to lead hikes and things instead of just ‘keeping up,’ and I want to be healthy and active throughout my whole life, and I believe there are others out there, just like me, who want to have their cake, eat it, and make it to the top of the mountain – all in the same day.
